Theosophical Encyclopedia

Theosophy Movement, The

(PUB.). A monthly magazine published in Bombay, India, which is devoted to the presentation of the “original” teachings of theosophy. Publication began in November 1930 on the initiative of the United Lodge of Theosophists of Bombay, but is independently produced and is not associated with any particular organization.

Articles are contributed by students of theosophy who attempt to bring the insights generated by theosophy to bear on contemporary problems and suggest applications of the philosophy in everyday life.

The magazine is financed by the Theosophy Company (India) Private Limited which is the business arm of the United Lodge of Theosophists, Bombay.
